How To Clean Dog Pee From Carpet With Vinegar


Dog urine can be a problem! It can leave a stain and it will leave an odor that will signal your dog to pee in this area again. The smell of dog urine can be very difficult to remove from your carpet. But, don't worry there is a simple inexpensive solution to this problem.




What You Need

 All you need are a couple of household products that you already have in your pantry; vinegar, baking soda, and water. That's it.

How To Apply

 Step 1  Dab up as much urine as you can. Fold a towel and place it over the soiled area. Apply firm pressure to soak up as much urine as possible.

 Step 2  Pour baking soda over the area and gently work a little in. This will absorb some of the pee and smell. Allow the baking soda to sit for 15 to 30 minutes.

 Step 3  Pour or spray vinegar over the baking soda. Allow it to do it's thing. It will foam up and this chemical reaction will help to neutralize the odor and remove any stain.

 Step 4  Pour a small amount of water on the area and soak up any extra fluid from the carpet.

 Step 5  Allow the the carpet to completely dry then vacuum the carpet thoroughly.
